Default Damaged pseudo bulb. Should I remove it?

Repotting my onc NoId and wondering if I should remove pseudo bulb damaged by stake (by grower not me). The damaged spot is not mushy should I remove the bulb?

If it is exposed to air once you pot it up, I would sprinkle a little cinnamon on it and leave it alone.

Yup, treat any fresh wounds, otherwise it should be fine.

As long as it is not mushy, I would also leave it alone. Unless there is a second infection and spread, the plant should handle mechanical damage fine.

I see a cute little new growth developing at its base!

It is a mechanical damage that has healed well....if there is infection you will notice a yellow ring around the wound.
Follow the culture and carry on ....Good Luck!

I think they get "dings" and scars like all of us. My twinkle has a kind of weird bent bulb from pushing on the edge of a pot. I have other weird "wounds" on other plants. I'd just do as the above. Maybe dust with the cinnamon-- be careful not to get it on those nice eyes and roots. Would not like those to dry out.
