James, you cannot possibly be suggesting that winters are NOT ferocious in Minnesota. I was in Minneapolis in April once and had to use the glassed-in walkways between downtown buildings to avoid going outside. I shudder to think what it would be like in late January . . .

I say we should just start adding it to our signatures, as well as any other relevant information. If enough people do it, it will hopefully catch on when asking for help.

I think the location field should be used more... that's what it's for and it shows on every post. Signature is another good way.

You can't see either the signature or the location against posts in Tapatalk however as Sonya says you can look up someone's profile and see the info in either the location or the signature.

For a forum like this where climate makes a lot of difference to your experience it really is an important bit of information.
