oh no :(
I found these water drops yesterday under 2 of my Orchid's leaves. It's sticky. Well I posted earlier and I was told it was normal, or called Happy sap/ juice? WEll: today I saw few tiny tiny tiny white bugs crawling. One of the leaves looks kind'a weak and wrinkled (ish)- can someone tell me if Nemo oil helps? where do I buy and how much is it. I have to help this plant. She has a new spike about 4 inch long now and has given me flowers since January. I have to save her cuz this plant means a lot to me. Is a Phal, Salmon color ( d one on my profile pic ) please can someone reply soon? Thank you so much. Means the world to me to save cuz is the plant that gave me flowers for me to bury my poodle just last month.

Hi. Sorry about your puppy. This is called happy sap or juice by many. It is just sap coming from pores in the tissue of the leaf due to high osmotic pressure within the tissue. It tastes sweet as it is sugar and all kinds of bugs like it. I posted pics of it on my orchids. Usually forms on flower sheaths because that is a thin tissue.

James is right, you have nothing to worry. In fact your plant is happy and healthy if it is providing you with sweet sap. It also have the correct shade of green for a Phal leaf= you must be giving it the proper light.

I just posted on your other post. It looks normal to me too. If you can post a pic of these bugs you see it would be nice. Is the wrinkled leaf one of the bottom leaves? Bottom leaves do wrinkle and fall off at some point which is normal.

James is right, it is a very sticky sap, I think it is a sugar. If you taste it, it is very sweet. Good news for a change...no bugs!!.

Thank You so much James, yes I'm still feeling the pain of loosing my baby Teddy boy. Dr. and nurses also cried when I place the flowers on him. I had to put him down due to a tumor.

Sorry about the loss of your Teddy-boy.
Little white bugs? Whitefly? Bayer 3-in-one rose systemic will take care of them. Spray it outside, though and follow directions.

The bayer works wonders I used it on my gardenia bush for white flies...I get them every winter when ever I bring my exotic plants in for the winter. Definitely spray it outside it stinks.

Sorry about your doggie, that is always a painful thing... I've been there too, so I also feel your pain.
Your Phal. looks very healthy tho, and the Bayer 3-n-1 product is really good, that usually works on most anything I believe Can't wait to see bloom pics when it blooms for ya!
Poodles are great dogs, my mom had one long ago, and I have a friend that has one now, very sweet, & very smart! I know that he will be missed.
