Hello to all!
This morning I was almost in tears as I saw this new growth on my paph because I think it may actually be a bud! This was my first paph in my collection which I purchased while in bloom. (Its flowers are extremely similar to the orchids I had in my wedding bouquet, so I've been most eager to have this one rebloom!)
However, since I've never had it bloom for me yet and this is my first paph, I just wanted some input on if it looks like a bud to more experienced eyes. If it is, any fertilizing/care tips from here to blooming? I've been watering with half RO, half tap water with a dilute orchid fertilizer of 30-10-10 added, about 1x a week or as needed. Any comments or constructive critiques are appreciated!!
Its tag reads: Paph. (Makuli-Curtisii)-Maudiae X Paph. Maudiae 'Napa Valley' HCC/AOS x Sib What can I call this plant for short? Just a "paph"?
Thanks in advance!!

Does look like it could be in the second pic.

Try very gently gripping where you think the bud is and see if it's 'fat' or 'flat'. You don't need to grip hard, just enough to feel if it's fat inside. Sometimes you can feel this even before they get high enough to see. I sometimes grip the fans when I see the tip of a new leaf to see whether it's actually a bud.

It does look like a bud to me. And as RosieC said indeed, feel it and you should know what it is

Great tip! It feels like there is a small bulge in there, about the size of a small pea.
Thanks a bunch! I'm very excited!
