phal re potting?

Hi everyone. . . Phals have always been my favorite flower and i have just gotten my first one a couple of days ago

. And after doing some research and finding this amazingly informative site. . . I noticed that some of the root on the plant look a little off color and feel kinda brittle and i was wondering how i should go about repotting or if i should at all. I have a clay pot and some miracle gro orchid potting mix. Any advice would be great
