whats the best way to sterilize your stakes?

I just wanted to now whats the best way to sterilize your metal and wood stakes?

I toss the wood or bamboo stakes. They can't be sterilized. I buy the cheap bamboo skewers at the grocery store and use them as stakes. The metal ones can be baked in the oven at 450. I can't remember for how long though.

Bleach water - strong bleach in a deep container for 30 minutes, rinse, dry and reuse.
