Hey everyone. I originally posted in the Identification part, but I think my questions really need to be here. I live in Colorado and currently my townhouse has either a south-east or a north-west window. As long as my blinds are closed in the early morn or late afternoon (to block the direct sun) it seems to do good, but then I worry it's not getting any light. Also, as you're probably very aware, humidity levels are very low here. I just bought this awesome meter called a Momet meter, so I'm able to see that my humidity is about 25% and light ranks low :-(

I have recently repotted and some roots look good and I think I have a new stem. Once I reach more posts I'll attach some photos. I have gone to a basic orchid class at my local nursery and have done tremendous amounts of research...and I am just hoping that my dendro just got a little shocked coming from a greenhouse into a dry/lower light home. The blooms were amazing and want to see them again someday...what do you think? Does it have a fighting chance?

Oh I forgot, it is potted in a ceramic pot with holes, in an orchid mix with charcoal, bark, and other stuff (hehe). The medium allows for proper air movement, maybe a little too much. With that meter I was able to determine that I was UNDER watering, it dried out so fast between the bark and the holes in the pot. It sits in a south-east window currently. And I use weakened fertilizer when I water, except for once a month when I just use water to clean out the salts. The roots looks worse in the photos, but none of them are mushy. On the other hand. none of them look tremendously healthy to me, and I think it's because I was underwatering for a while.

Direct morning OR afternoon sun should be good. Since it's not been getting any direct sun, it probably needs to be acclimated slowly. Morning sun is ideal, but afternoon sun is good.

I have had mine outdoors in summer getting sun all morning, and in winter in a south facing window that gets sun most of the (short) days.
If you are at high elevation, it may not be able to take as much sun as mine down at sea level...

I use bamboo kabob skewers in the pots/media to determine when to water. It has been such a big help to me! If your plant is drying more quickly than you would like, pot it in a plastic pot. And/or try different potting media. If you can get some, coconut husk chips retain moisture longer than bark.
