Wow!!! Siberia. That's amazing. I thought being able to grow tolumnias and miltonias in Aridzona was amazing. I am amazed at those here who grow their plants in an apartment. Few years back I grew three orchids in my camper when I relocated to it after a divorce. But Siberia. Wow.

Akhenaten from the Russian Siberia area….who joined our Board in 2008 said
he grows his orchids on a make shift terrarium out of glass trading show-window (not a glass wine cooler box as I previously mentioned)…..and he said he grows Vanda and many other orchids….

That is so amazing. I know it gets hot in the summer but very cold in winter with very little light in the north.

I am also amazed....because on the next post he did he showed us his blooms and he even has a very healthy asian ghost orchid....his Vanda has this big flat and robust flowers the roots are pencil thick and correct color of leaves....

love his display. Obviously a very dedicated and knowledgable gardener. Just shows what you can do when you get the culture spot on.
