My first orchid show!
Today I went to my first orchid show and it was GREAT! but I told myself I was not going to get any orchids, well that went out the window as soon as I walked in. I did have a little self control I only came home with two orchids rather then the 50 I wanted
here are some pics of the two I got let me know what ya think. The paph is a paph. venustum and the other is cattleya dowiana. I think there is a little fertilizer burn on the catt what should I do about it?
PS
sorry the pics are so bad the light in this house stinks

I did not think I could get the fertilizer burn to go away but I did not know if I should cut it off or not.

No the leaves in the pot. Some of them have the multi-streak leaves at the bottom and some of them are just all the same color green. It looks like it might have the multi-streak leaves.

Those look great!! Glad you had fun at the show
To remove those marks from the cattleya leaves, just put a little bit of milk in a shallow dish, heat it up in the microwave so its hot/warm, and then with the rough side of your kitchen sponge, take some of the hot milk and gently scrub the catt leaves. Then, just wipe them dry with a damp paper towel soaked in water. That always works for me It is just the minerals that are dried on the leaf, no big deal, just gently scrub it off
