Congrats on the first show and new purchases. Both look great. I really like the venustum pouch with all the veining.

I went to the show here in Miami and I did went crazy, got several cats, they had a good price with flowers ready to open, today they are opening...... norma

To remove those marks from the cattleya leaves, just put a little bit of milk in a shallow dish, heat it up in the microwave so its hot/warm, and then with the rough side of your kitchen sponge, take some of the hot milk and gently scrub the catt leaves. Then, just wipe them dry with a damp paper towel soaked in water. That always works for me :) It is just the minerals that are dried on the leaf, no big deal, just gently scrub it off :)

I would have loved to have gone crazy to but I dont have the space :( but I will soon then I plan on getting more orchids :D

The trick to dealing with lack of space is to buy only compact/mini plants! You can fit at least twice as much in the same space. :biggrin:

Minis also have the advantage of being easy to smuggle into the house, if you live with someone who doesn't completely approve of your orchid habit! :rofl: :rofl: I've managed to get quite a few in, completely unnoticed. Until I got the remark one day "say.... I thought you had less than that??"

I only have five orchids so I dont have to smuggle any in, yet :lol:
