should i fertilize my flowering phal?

i was wondering if its good to fertilize phalaenopsis orchids during bloom and if so could i use a dilute houseplant fertilizer?

Of course you should.

During flowering, a plant is expending energy, so needs fuel to keep up with that.

Pretty much any fertilizer that is complete with trace elements can be used on orchids, just keep it very dilute.

ok thanks thats pretty much what i thought i just read somewhere that fertilizing duting flowering makes the flowers fall off, but i'd rather that then it get sick
