I've replied via PM am about where I get my mix. The roots you have look good and I would leave them and once you have a good mix pot up in that. This one looks like you should be abel to save it.

Just got back from a garden centre feels like nice big chunky pieces and says peat free so fingers x it's the right stuff :-D

That mix looks good, but again be sure to keep water off of the leaves and away from the crown.

LOL... Ok, just wanted to be sure. It's best when you water to do so on the medium and avoid getting water in the plant at all. I'd hate for you to lose this due to watering technique.

The mix looks good , looks like mostly CHC to me (coconut husk chip). It's best when its sold super dry but usually I would soak it 24hours before use. Don't worry but you might want to keep an eye out encased it dries faster than expected at first and when you water leave it standing in water half an hour or so before thoroughly draining. Phals cope fine with that. Once it gets settled in the medium should absorb water easier and won't need as much.

Would've soaked it if it was already in something, just really wanted to get it potted. Think I'll be checking on it almost as much as my 9 month old lol. Really want it to survive
