Your experience is actually making a lot of sense now to me. I recently had a fraudulent charge on my cc. Oh no. I never connected the two. I did change my pw last night but thanks for the experience and suggestions...going to do that right now.

I would agree with Paul. It's a headache to change everything, but it's worth it.
I find with us, we tend to have issues with our debit card - maybe someone copying it. Our bank has been pretty good as they monitor our account and replace our cards immediately when they see something fishy.

ah - Paul makes a good point - I have read that most people tend to use the same pw for many accounts, and if they can 'break' one account, and possibly find some usable info there, they may also have your pw for other accounts. Obviously they weren't able to guess your pw, but never hurts to be careful and change it.

I still don't see what would be of value on OB. There are no real names used most of the time, no credit card numbers, addresses, phone numbers....

They might not know that Camille. But you never know what they are after, and every small piece, no matter how trivial, is still a piece. It's also possible they are after any digital uploaded images as they are usually embedded with information.

right...getting your IP address gets them inside your computer...they get your email address and password by creating a fake page where you enter infos...
it can start with just this harmless ID and password from OB
but I highly doubt it...because OB uses a complicated cookie bounce that if youre a bonafide legit member your Ip and cookie must match to the ID and password...hence the rejection and failed notification...OB protects us from harm

Not so sure I follow you Bud. I've been in other states, Bermuda, Mexico and Costa Rica logging in on other computers (hotel and friends) with absolutely no failed notifications. Not sure an IP is what OB blocks. But perhaps my definition of IP is off since technology changes daily, l...
