Default Should I remove this or not?

I hope everyone is well. I went to my orchid vender near where I live to get my valentine's gift and I picked up this beauty. They had an open house yesterday. I didn't notice this on 1 of the pbulbs til I got home, as I was in a rush. I am wondering if I should remove this bulb and if I need to can I do it without re-potting as I don't want to lose the flowers? It is only on the 1 bulb and I don't want it to spread, it is mushy. If I remove it should I use cinnamon on it or peroxide as I don't have physan? Thanks for the help.

I don't like the look of it. Cut off the entire pseudobulb in between it and the next one - you can do this without removing from the pot - then dust the cut with cinnamon and make sure to move the media back a bit from the cut so it dries out.

Lovely Beallara! I agree, get rid of it up to good healthy tissue and dust with cinnamon or sulfur powder. And keep the media away so it can dry as Bruce says. It should be fine then.
