Default Mounted my Haraella retrocalla

I didn't have wood, but read somewhere here about mounting on the clay pots. Does it look OK?:

Thank you! I hope I didn't cause any trouble to the bud by this mounting...

Very Cool repot/mount!
It looks like a really healthy looking plant & I love how you have mounted the plant.
Please do post updates of your bloom as well as how your plant does mounted on the upside down pot. Thanks for posting!

Thank you guys!
Nenella, I will update this post with bloom picture if it survives. Also I just discovered something that looks like new spike coming out!

The mount looks great. Your second picture looks like you put some sphag over the roots? That is a good thing. A little moss over the roots helps keep them moist and growing.

That's the way to do it. Once the roots"eat" the pot, crack it with a hammer and sit it atop another.
Air circulation is everything when it comes to epiphytes.

Very nice way of mounting the cutie! Love this orchid, it's one of my favorite minis. Me too, I'm curious to know how it does on the mount in the coming months.

Thank you everybody! It was my first mounting experience, was kind of worried how did I do
Wjs2nd, I just put a strand of moss over the white ugly tie to cover it, but glad that it will work for roots too.
Camille, I will update this thread with any event, good or bad, we'll see how it does on my mount in time.
I am planning to mist the roots area every morning.
Air humidity around that tray measures at about 65-70%, temps are between 21 and 25 Celsium.
