Default Complete disaster with debit card...

Today has been one of the biggest ever disasters with my debit card. It started around lunch time while I was on the WWW. I knew something was wrong when cramps set in my hands and my fingers began to twitch. Before long my right hand extended out towards my wallet and there was nothing I could do about it! I pulled out my debit card with little difficulty and the carnage began...I attempted to find some of my meds to see if that would help but there seemed little point; I had had this happen before and nothing at all worked. I watched in abject horror as, click by click, I started buying. The sweat was beading on my forehead. My card just wouldn't stop working. Every time I hit 'enter' in the checkout page the purchase was successful! I tried calling family and friend but there was no reply. Perhaps they, too, were afflicted?

Complete Armageddon! When the sweat cleared I saw the apocalypse. I feel compelled to write all that is the resulting from my latest acquisitions...I am ashamed.

Ah yes. That is why I always recommend folks give their credit cards to someone they can trust BEFORE visiting any orchid vendor/sales site. (Andy's Orchids is a particularly dangerous site to visit with an accessible credit card at hand, IMO.)

^ Yeah, at first I thought this was going to be a tale about how an on-line orchid seller seriously overcharged on the debit card... glad it turned out to be a very different and happy ending.

Are these seedlings or with buds getting ready to bloom?

AHAHA!!! LOL!!! I had the same thing happen to me today. I went to my OS with $40 in cash, planing on buying a bag of sphag and maybe one $10ish 'chid, but came away with the following:

1 bag of sphag: $6
B. Grand Stars: $15
Blc. Copper Queen: $7
Onc. Gold Dust: $5

I DID sell my Phal. violacea for $10, so I do feel a little better!
