Default Oasis as potting medium

Has anyone tried the floral oasis as a medium for orchids?What were the results?

Little cubes of Oasis might be OK, but the material is either dry or saturated (= suffocating to roots).

Oh gosh, I'd stay clear away from this as any media even as a small addition. I would think it would turn into a cemented mess - gah!

I twice bought Brassia's which have pieces of it in the medium. I'm not comfortable about it at all and repotted both as soon as possible, however it seems it works (mixed in with bark) for the nursary.

It stays to wet for me though, like Ray says the stuff is either saturated (no air) or too dry.
