Just remember that a lot of cymbidiums need the cold weather in order to bloom.

I guess we weren't really given regular temps of the office. But they are lovely year round. I love the tall grass like foliage of them.

Not so much cold weather but a big difference in temperature. Just something to think about since most. Likely the temp stays within a few degrees all the time.

I suppose so. Maybe we'll learn more about the conditions soon.

I believe it is cooler temps, rather than a particular amount of temp difference - I have read that 50F or less at night in late summer - fallfor (non-warmth tolerant) cyms to spike. They also need a good deal of light.
I do agree, that they are attractive plants even out of bloom, especially ones with variegated foliage

LOL! sorry Mostly I just plan to take quite a while at it, but recently I was looking at one of mine (that was just repotted spring of last year) - noting how much it had grown since then, and thinking 'yikes! how am I going to repot that by myself?" Mostly in regards to getting it out of the pot. Maybe it will help me out and use it's roots to break the pot ahead of time for me ;p I do have a smaller one doing that.
