black spot on catt - is it doomed? Female

They seem to be hard to the touch, but I'll check again to make sure.

I have some Physan 20 at home, so I'll give that a try. I've had it for a few months, but I've not yet used it. Is it meant to be used (in this particular case) as a spray? I'm assuming I should spray in the morning as opposed to evening. ??

Thanks so much for the comments everyone! This is my first cattleya and I'm still pretty unsure of myself when it comes to their care.

It is generally recommended to spray in the mornings ....
and be sure to follow directions ...it can burn roots if its too strong ...my label calls for 2 teaspoons per gallon and at that rate even do not get it on blooms or small buds if you can avoid it....I am blaming a application just as my paph was starting a spike to cause it to blast ...

You might also use straight hydrogen peroxide a couple of times a few days apart.
