I want my Phaleonopsis to have their natural cycle and hopefully rebloom once a year. What is best for them? To cut the spike off at the base directly after blooming? Or when it has turned yellow? Or brown? Or is it better to do nothing unless the spike turns brown? They do not get cut off in nature but I want to do what is best for them. I am not interested in cutting the spike off above a green node to cause it to bloom again during the season. All the spikes on my Phaleonopsis, both those that have finished blooming and those that are still blooming, are green. What if they never turn yellow or brown?
