ROLF... You are a true orchid addict with all your questions, Lady Tottington!
BTW, I was taught a long time ago that the only stupid questions were the one's never asked. Keep it up!

I can't seen to find my digi camera right now, or I'd post a pic. I bought it 2 years ago and it had about 10 P-Bulbs. It now has about 20 but it would have been bigger as it had a fungus attack a while back. I waited too long to repot it as it always had a bloom on it. Now it's growing with vigor and should double in size within a year.
It's planted in a 6" clay pot with fired clay balls, charcoal, coconut husks, and sponge rong rock. I grow it outdoors and feed it MSU weekly/weakly.
It's really an easy grower.
Here is an older pic...

Paph Pinocchio is an intraalliance Hybrid within the Cochlopetalum Alliance of the Genus. All species in this alliance (e.g. Paph. primulinum, glaucophyllum, liemianum, moquetteanum, etc) and their hybrids will have sequential blooming habits. A well grown plant of this alliance could be in bloom the whole year non-stop!
Some species are pretty small, like Paph. primulinum, and othars are pretty big like moquetteanum.. so you can have a plant for each taste
Psychopsis are another good option for "perenninal" bloomers...
in my experience, also Phal. equestris could be probably be included here... well, maybe not 365 days a year blooming, but almost, when well grown
