I fertilise with an orchid growers inhouse brand fertilizer weakly weekly. I drench the roots and then mist the leaves with a weaker version especially the undersides of the leaves. My dens and aranda seem to love it.
So my rhetorical question is this: When one foliar feeds, is it the nutrients on the leaves that are most beneficial, or is it the drips that get into the medium, hence the roots?
Based upon my readings and observation of water flow when misting, I vote for the latter.
