Default Are There Any New Mexico Orchid Growers Out There

I was wondering if any of you out in cyber space lived and raised orchids in "The Land Of Enchantment".If so please share your experiences and information on what you grow and how you grow it. With are higher elevations the climate can be quite unique. Also are there any members of the Albuquerque or Las Cruces Orchid Societies out there?

Are you trying to figure out what you can successfully grow in your area without having to go all out of your way to simulate the orchid's natural environment?

No, not really. I have basically a "warm" growing greenhouse with 50% to 60 % humidity supplied and plenty of light for vandas, oncidiums, cattleyas, etc. What I am really interested in is making more local contact with those who are seriously into this hobby of ours to share ideas on how far I can "push the envelope" in orchid collecting. Who knows I may eventually get a another green house for breeding or "cool" growers.
