I agree it's a Dendrobium of the Phal type. Don't worry, this is not related to Phalaenopsis genus, just the name.

I have a range of Phal type Dens and some have long canes and some have really fat canes like yours. There is also big variation in the shape & texture of the leaves. It can all depend on the exact hybrid.

With both the Phal and the Den you are unlikely to get an exact ID as there are so many hybrids arround, many of which are unregistered. Even if you find something similar you can never be certain that it's the same.
