Plant Prod fertilizer, anyone heard of it?
There are only 2 fertilizer's i can get locally.
Schultz 19-31-17
and Plant Prod 25-10-10
Ordering from the states is out, it costs way too much to ship.

Personally, I'd stick with the Schultz stuff at 1/2 tsp/gal (0.65 ml/L) at 3 out of every 4 waterings, and avoid the high-nitrogen one.

I would avoid the one with urea, because urea is an organic compound in this fertilizer. Nitrogen from urea can be released, for the orchid to use, during the period when orchid doesn’t need it anymore, because it entered the resting period. This may eventually result in new growth so this orchid will not flower. It can be even worse, because it may happen during winter, when there are lower temperatures and less light. The new growth will be very poor, thereby weakening whole plant. It can take up to 2 seasons for this orchid to recover enough, to flower again.

Yes, yes, yes for the Dyna-Gro Grow 7-9-5. An excellent product, developed for hydroponics, better than the others. Has a lot in it and a lot going for it. I alternate it with the Dyna-Grow Bloom.

Dyna-Gro "Grow" formula is good. I used it exclusively for more than 10 years, and was quite pleased.

Don't use the high nitrogen fertilizer (Plant Prod) - that can give you vegetative growth instead of flowers. I've never understood, however, that's there a problem with urea nitrogen, though perhaps things are different for hydroponics. I'd go with the Schultz also, but the Dyna-Grow should be okay. I use 15-30-15, a pinch in two gallons of water with every watering except during the winter when I cut back.
