Wow! Looking forward to seeing what this plant looks like in a few more months! How much light do you give it? Is this in a greenhouse or what other type of environment? With all the red it looks like you might be pushing it (exactly perfectly) right to the limit? Fabulous to see all the activity! Good job.

Hi mayres,

I have a large room that I have my desk, my painting stuff and a big table with orchids on. It has a very large east facing window and the table is about 2 feet back from it. It is a light and airy room that I'm in a lot of the time. As it's winter I sometimes have the reverse cycle heater on but I keep the door open so it doesn't get stuffy in there. This is the first time I've tried growing orchids indoors on any kind of ongoing basis. Most of my orchids are outside. But I do have a lot of orchids on my kitchen window sill too. If you look at my thread 'My orchid kitchen' in the beginners forum you can see the set up.

This Phal has always been dark red/green since I got it.
