and some say when the orchid want to forming bud it need cold temperature at night....but at night our temperature was hot also...so i switch on my fan...is it helpfull?
For some Phalaenopsis orchids that is true. But it is not the same for all orchids. Different types of orchids need different conditions to get them to flower. I'm still learning with mine what each of them needs.
hi everybody, im a new lover for the orchids...in my collection now i have miniature dendrobium hybrid....i buy it with flower...and it last for 2 month....after i cut the spike...is it spike ...brown colour...how long i could wait for new blooming...any suggestion how to care of it? is the colour of the leave show it in good health? enough light etc? please please help me...

i'm sad orchid pic no 3 fail to bloom...look like dried up...i put in my house....and with fan on n off in the day.....and also at night i'm not put it outside for cooler temp at night...in my apartment the temperature(night) almost the same at daylight...is it this is one of the cause?
