Dendrobium flower

I have taken notice that many dendrobium can make several flowers in one spike, but my dendrobium only bloom 3 flowers in one spike. Is it normal for dendrobium ?

I think we will need more info as Dendrobium is a HUGE group of orchids, almost as diverse as Orchids themselves as far as I can tell.

What sort of Dendro is it, if you don't know can you post a picture which would help us work out roughly what sort it is.
