I thought I knew what a Phal plant looked like?
I bought me another Orchid tonight while stopping at a store, the pot says its a Phal, from what I know it looks nothing like a Phal, is it a Phal? This plant has 4 spikes, I have no idea what the flowers will look like, but its going to beautiful when they do open.

Nope - you are right - it's not a phal!
It's an Oncidium alliance - looks like miltoniopsis, or maybe miltonia ? to me - and I bet it will be beautiful!
nice find!
Make sure to post pix when those buds open!

oops! someone slapped the wrong label on that one!
I have seen some other posts about people buying an orchid labeled as Phalaenopsis when they clearly weren't lol
I bet you'll love the blooms on this!

When it blooms, take some pics, and contact Gublers. Give them all the other info you can too. They have been very helpful to me in the past with ID problems.

it kind of looks like the main color is going to be a light green, I wanted to try an open 1 a little to take a peek, but I decided against that, i'll find out soon enough I guess....

Ah. Must be the light reflecting from the flash.
They will look prettier if they open naturally, plus I find it an amazing process to watch them go from bud to fully-blown flower in no time. Don't spoil the surprise
Don't forget to post some snaps in bloom
