Thanks Becca and I don't like the idea of that Masd. taking 1-2 years to bloom!!

There are still some spikes that I hope will bloom this time.

I should have known you'd spot the Blue Bird. I got a baby pup from it that I just put into S/H today.

Keep me posted on how it does in s/h? I'm to much of a scardy cat to try even my neo hybrid in it...lol.

One to two years does seem like a long time to wait for a 'chid to adjust...I've gone through so many orchids (giving them away) because I got impatient because they didn't bloom for me the first year....then I heard some else say that to me and what do you know, the ones I held onto are blooming for me!

Nice growing. Does the neo blue bird belong to the Vandaceous spp.?

Yes Charmaine, it is a Vandaceous ssp.

Neostylis Lou Sneary "Blue Bird" CCM/AOS

It is a cross of Neofinetia falcata x Rhynchostylis coelestis so I guess it is Vandaceous.

Maybe someone can give us some more info.

Thanks Connie, Gloria, and Stephanie I'm really pleased, too.
