Default Too Much Water?

I'm kind of worried about my two dens. They are suppose to be going through a rest right now but they are so young, not even a year old and they haven't grown much from the stress of being shipped and damaged.

Right now the one is mounted and the other is in a 2in pot with bark. I'm watering the mounted one every other day cause it is completely dry by then, and the potted one every three days. Yet I see both are loosing leaves even though the one den is a evergreen variety. Am I watering them improperly still and causing them damage?

The change of the season will slow the growth. Dens are quite hardy. It common for a Den's to lose it's leaves after the end of the growing season. Even Evergreen varieties will lose portions of the foliage at about the same time. Water very lightly then step it back up in Spring and hopefully you'll see some new growth. Good Luck
