Default new leaves to grow

Generally speaking how long would it take for an orchid to grow a new leaf? Weeks or months? A new spike? Anyone know?

The answer to your question completely depends on the orchid. What kind of orchid are you talking about?

Well i have 2 phals and two dens as posted on my thread in the dens forum! My phal has one firm leaf and the other quite big and floppy... Their was one under that one when I bought it but removed it because it was below the spike..

The dens I cut some of the ugly looking leafs but was wondering when it was going to spike?

Never remove heathly leaves! The spikes quite often do this. The more leaves it has, the more energy it can put into the spike.
