what's the most you've ever paid for an orchid?

Hmmmm...the most i have spend on an orchid is about 79$
and that was a Vanda Coerulea...many many years ago...and i can tell you that it did die because of my ignorance

115 for a NBS Bulbo phalaenopsis.

Wish I had more money to spend on those huge Bulbos, there was a giant Bulbo phalaenopsis on ebay for 5000 I wouldve bought.

...provided I had an extra five grand!

so far my most expensive one (Oncidium) was $48.00
I only have six orchids now but I'm plannig on visiting an all orchid greenhouse sometime this month so who knows what I'll be coming home with!!
