Default corvu-cervi spikes- what to do with them?

I've had this Phal cornu-cervi var alba for about five months and it just keeps throwing out flowers and spikes. Should I cut off a spike that no longer seems to be producing buds so that the plant's energy goes to the new spikes?

The second pic is the spike that seems to have stopped budding-- or has it? The third is the plant's newest spike.

I may be wrong here, but I believe these can sometimes bloom from previous spikes. I'd leave them as long as they look green and healthy.

You're right on Royal, they can bloom for years!
So don't cut them off, just allow them to dry up first.
Good growing

Leave the spike, by all means! Phal cornu-cervi, as Gloria mentioned, will bloom over and over and over from the same spike, sometimes with the spike branching (in fact, the name translates to something like "horns of the deer" because of the branching nature). Eventually a spike will run it's course, and dry out. Don't cut it off until it does!

This is one of my favorite Phals!

Thanks, I'll leave the spikes alone!
