Nervous newbie phal/epi questions. Male
Default Medium/humidity

As for a medium...3 parts medium-grade fir bark to 1 part vermiculite/perlite (can't remember which I used) and 1 part coal. A little bit of sphag tossed in for good measure. Same medium I use for everybody else (basically) and they're all happy. As for humidity, my hygrometer broke recently so I need a new one, but I keep it well-misted, usually have a sponge soaked in warm water tossed amongst them too just to keep things on the up & up. Everybody else seems happy.

Just yesterday I divided up two phal. kaleidoscope that were potted together - mounted one. My first mounting job. Wish I had a larger piece of driftwood, but I can always attatch a larger one to the back in the near future.

I'm still concerned about my lighting - 2 40w bulbs, avg. lumens about 2800? Any good?

-Ry.

I'm not too familiar with lumens measurements. Maybe someone else can say something.
