Dendrobiums don't bloom for me!
My cattleyas, phals, and oncidiums grow and bloom for me. I have them in a North window with artificial (sodium) light for 16 hours per day. In the summer I take all of my plants outside. I do not control the humidity other than having some excess water in the overflow dishes under the plants. I live in the Cleveland, Ohio area so you can figure out the type of outdoor weather I have. Catts bloom indoors, phals indoors and out, oncidiums usually bloom outdoors for me.
My question concerns dendrobiums. I cannot get any to bloom. I imagine this is due to the conditions they need. Is there any type that would blossom under the conditions I currently have?
