Default i committed a crime!

anyway i killed my dendo keiki, i was checking around and I saw discoloration on this keiki. and somehow i can pulled it off (the leaves) and even has this spicy scent. well i know it will end up infecting the mother plant so i use a knife and slice it off (i was talking to the keiki while cutting him) sniff! oh and after that i did a mixture of cinnamon and fungicide make it a paste and rub it on the freshly cut orchid.

just wanna know if i did it right? to cut the baby keiki at once since i think the keiki has crown rot and smells like spicy wine ionno!

I think you did the right thing. A keiki is more like a bonus plant, and if it is going to cause a problem with the mother plant, I would remove it too.

:iagree:

You have more of an investment in the mother plant than in the keiki. So save the mother.
