Grammatophyllum spike or just a young shoot
hi guys i was sooo bored so i just check every orchids i have... and guess what i got soooooooooooo excited coz i saw this tiny little green coming out of a gramma bulb. please tell me it its a spike to become a flower or... a young bulb. anyway if its a spike then im going to buy another orchid if its a bulb then i guess ill be half sad and half happy. lol!

I don't know where those bloom from but it seems to be a pbulb. I hope I am wrong and you get your flowers. At any rate, it is always satisfying to get growth of any kind as validation for all your efforts. Way to grow!! Keep us posted!

Although I'm not an expert myself....and it's probably a bit to early to tell, I would guess that it could be a flower sheath. Flower sheath are pointed while pseudobulb are round. Flower spike would latter emerge from under the sheath.
Hope it blooms well!
PS: What kind of gramma is that? Multiflorum or Martae?

grammatophyllum multiflorum citrinum. ill give yah updates on this. prolly send another photo by next month since gramma is such a slow grower! haha dats why im so excited with this lil giant!

oh cool the citrinum kind!! they grow them here with charcoal and moss at the top, funny plant because the roots grow upright like little spikes

yeah i heard when a root nest has formed u can put poop around the nest... i put chicken poop on top of the root nest!

I have this same plant and those look like bulbs to me.
The bulbs are somewhat oval shaped.

That looks like 3 new bulbs. Congratz!!!
I had to 'kill' one of my grams due to fungi. Had to isolate one healthy bulb and waiting for new bud to come....in time or bye bye.
