Just my

but I think both Dorothy and Ray have good points. Large pots hold more water and take longer to dry out leading possibly to root rot depending on the medium while larger pots allow for a "root run" of sorts leading to more vegetive growth.... For someone like me, I avoid sphag because it is the kiss of death in my hands and I tend to repot in containers that are just an inch or two larger.....I've knocked off too many chids due to overwatering. OK so I'm mentally impaired

would this mean I'm learning disabled

or just that the learning curve is too steep
