I know !!! Most of my friends at work tell me that I should stop already that I reached 100 what would I want more. And I tell them that there are still 1000s that I don't have so I still have a while before I stop collecting but specially for the Phals I don't have as much space as I would like since they are kept indoors so that they won't get the extreme heat from South Florifa.

I love this orchid - big bang for a little plant.

Give it bright light and warm to intermediate temps. Water regularly - it doesn't really have a rest period and will grow year 'round. Grown well, it'll flower 2-3 times a year.

I have Why Not. I've been thinking about picking up Maui Maid sometime in the near future. Hopefully one will follow me home, too!

Thank you Snowden. It is growing, just not blooming. I have it in an eastern window at the moment. Most of my 'chids are moving to a western window as soon as I am done with the setup there. Better lights than I now have, are on my list. First the trays for better humidity, then the lights. Bought the shelving already. I have Restrepia and a few others in a north window. May move the Miltoniopsis there if it doesn't cool down here. Going to be 106 today. I'll be misting me and the orchids!

It should be okay for now on your desk, then after it's done put it out near your catts. Depending on how bright it is at your desk, you may want to slowly expose it to the light of your south window or risk sunburn.
