Sorry, it is an Oncid. My brain is full of Orchids these days. It's hard to keep everything straight. It does get plenty of light. Right now it's in a south facing window with filtered light. When I figure out how to send a photo as an attachment, I'll share my successes.. My African Violets are starting to bloom again after a month's rest. Does anyone else collect Saintpaulias? Cherlon

I am suspecting the same thing also! I have noticed my Onc.s near the windows tend to spike more often then the ones that are not near windows. I have a feeling it has something to do with the glass temp at night, could be totally a fluke though!

DJ it's probably the extra light for the plants next to the glass that is giving you more spiking on them.
