Jespa .. do you have a local orchid society or association you can drop in on?
If not, you can look for either orchid bark mix or a coconut husk mix medium .. you can try sphag moss but it's a tricky thing to keep an eye on as far as maintaining it's moisture and can cause root rot if kept too wet for too long or packed too tightly. Many greenhouse and some indoor growers are successful with it. Again, it's dependent upon your growing conditions, a watchful eye and controlled watering.
