Most orchid nurseries can handle overnight shipping. I might suggest contacting Orchids by Hausermann in metro Chicago. They always have large plants loaded with buds ready to ship. You need to contact them directly because not everything will be on their Web site, and they can make recommendations about what looks best right now. This is what they have on their Web, site, but they are likely to have Cattleyas in bud as well

I was gonna say the same! Hausermans had some really nice orchids in bloom. I recommend getting some big floofy Cattleyas because they will be stunning in bloom and should grow well in your climate afterwards
