I have started a thread about the Egret Orchids I'm trying to grow, and this is an update

One is growing slowly, outside and kept constantly irrigated, as Estacion Seca, you advised (if you are reading this haha)
I had lost one of the pods, and found it a few days ago, in a cup in our dark garage, in a few millimeters of dirts, and it was growing out a delicate white kind of thin sprout a few centimeters. I planted this and put it under light. The sprout put out a green end, and gradually the end of the green end had a browned tip. Hopefully, Roberta, you are reading this

because I recall that you suggested to me that in such a case, when the green sprout tip turns brow, you should stop keeping the mix wet constantly, and start letting it dry in between as with a mature plant. Is this correct?
