Default Got a prob with new Phal...picks included.

I got this Phal for free in the store, course of its condition.
Now im not quite sure how to help this plant, so i hope someone here could give me som instructions?

Its blooming, but the flower looks dryied out, at least two of the smaller knobs and the one flower who still hanging in there. The other knob looks almost fine, just a little dry.
But theres also two new flower-stick on the way, lower down on the motherstick.
The leafs have an almost oily discolor, most underneath but alsow visible from the upperside.
The roots look fine, but they looked pretty dryied out so i gave her some water. Now the roots are green, as it should be right after watering.
Should i cut of the flowerstick above the new one, or sholud i just let it be? Should i give her some nutrition (i have one from Sweeden for use on orchids, kalled Bayern) ?

Help please?

Some picks.

It looks to me like the roots are suffocating, so it is affecting the plant's overall health.

If it was mine, I'd chop off the spike, and repot immediately.

The waxy appearence could be leaf polish that some vendors/garden centers use to make plants "look" healthy...not that yours isn't in good condition. Most phals are pretty much past their prime for flowers and to get the plant growing new leaves, I'd cut the spike at the base of the plant. Next season it will grow a new spike with nice flowers rather than respike from old growth. Having said all of this, certainly many people out there have phals with new flower growth "stemming" from the old spike...almost as though there doesn't appear to be an end to the flowering season!

yes i would also cut off the spike; and while you are at it, maybe change the potting media as well.
by fall you,ll be rewarded with a healthy plant ready to grow a new spike
good luck
