Default Orchid flower doesn't open

Hi
I have several orchids on my Northern window seel.
Now they start to bloom, except one.
This Orchid has its flowers still closed, and they just drop one by one.
What's the reason for that ?

The most likely cause if on a window sill would be too cold or a draft, but I have no idea if this is even a possibility in Israel at this time of year.

When you say that the flowers just drop what exactly do you mean? Is it just the petals and sepals dropping, or is the whole flower falling off of the spike?

OP said the bud falls off before opening. Sounds like bud blast.

@OP what species is the plant? I suspect that will help more knowledgeable people around here diagnose the problem.

Welcome to the Orchid Board.

That can happen for several reasons:
Temperature is too low, below 65 F / 18C.
Temperature changed too rapidly.
Not enough water.
Humidity very low or changed high to low.

or, as someone pointed out recently, a faulty gas appliance or lack of ventilation when using one! That was the cause of a load of my orchids dropping their buds recently

or ripening fruit nearby, especially bananas!
