Brought a Vanda Kultana Violettea blooming size (15" tall) in February 2021. Received showing no old spikes.
Vanda's generally take a bit longer to adjust to a new environment.
Once it has experienced one full season it should then get into the right growing rhythm but that takes a year. I wouldn't say there is anything unusual about a vanda skipping a flowering due to changing environment and if yours has neve flowered before it might be "blooming size" but that does not equal "able to bloom straight away"
I the plant is blooming size but hasn't got enough roots then it needs to grow roots first and that can take a year or two also so there is nothing unusual about a vanda not floweringwithin 4 months of buyng it but if you want to post a picture we can help tell if it is lacking anything.
How much light does it get, what temps day and night.
When repotted roots were not in good shape. Only a few were turning green when watered.
Tried the vase water culture but did not work well for me (might not have waited long enough for any results)
Just repotted it again in clay pot with bark. Will give it more time for roots to develop.

Vandas require high & relatively constant humidity in the root zone. That might not be real practical with clay pot & bark.
My personal choice is Vanda basket with spaghnum & bark (4:1 ratio). With that combination, I water twice a week in winter & three times a week in summer.
If you are are prepared to water daily, you can grow Vandas in an empty basket (or simply tied to a wire hanger).
would you suggest to repot it again now or wait to see how it does. and how long should i wait to see any results.
lower leaves are a lighter shade of green.
thank you for your help.
Just googled this and color is wonderful. But none I saw was potted and it will get large. I've had mine only about 2-3 yrs, but in those slotted plastic baskets and wire hung. Inside they're kept under grow lights and put in the shower to water. But now, outside in bright light and rain or me spraying. Some roots are 3ft long. So a pot may not be the way to go. Good luck tho. In the end, do what's best for you and growing conditions.
