If the leaves are still green, and if there's no sign of bulbs turning into an olive colour or rotting colour, then there's still hope for sure.
For dendrobiums, what you could possibly do is to just pot into lava rock (or bark). You can pot into a wide and relatively deep pot if you want. And if the roots are still alive for this plant ------ and if you put the very good drainage pot into an area that has bright light (but not direct sunlight) with nice temperatures ------ and some very gentle air-flow, then the orchid could do ok. Just water the media (bark or lava rock) out toward the rim region of the pot --- allowing the water to work its way down the pot, and drain out. This keeps the outskirts moist, and prevents the bulk of the roots further in toward the middle from getting too wet. So it should allow the roots to get moist air, and allows the orchid to just get on with doing what it does --- ie. thrive and do well.
This doesn't mean to not grow in the style you've been growing. It just means --- try a method that gets some safe and good results, and then switch to back later - once you have a nice idea of what needs to be kept under control, or what might be getting out of control.
