Now I’ve read everywhere that vandals need strong air movement. Why? Is it just to dry out their roots? If so, in my dry house do you think they’ll need less airflow?
The air movement is, indeed, to facilitate the wet-dry cycle. If the roots get a chance to dry out then air movement beyond what they'd naturally get in the house is probably less critical.
