There are 2 growers here on Oahu that sell them: Kawamoto Orchids has them in 8 in pots for $120 (Seedling Odds & Ends - www.KawamotoOrchids.com) and Wilk Orchids has them in smaller pots (4 or 5 in I think) for $45 (http://www.wilkorchids.com/orchpg2.html). I actually bought one of these guys from Wilk Orchids a few months ago and they look great!! In fact, when I repotted them it turned out there were 2 separate plants in one!! I would call them both and see what they say. I hope these prices are cheap enough!!
Steve, thanks for the info.
I've made a note of it for future reference.
This is gonna be a crazy chid week and I don't want to kill my husband so I'm gonna hold off on this one...I've waited this long
George from EFG emailed me this morning. " Hi,
we do have peristeria alata. 6" pots are $45.00 and 8" pots are $65.00
sincerly,
George

They don't have the capacity on their website to take orders, as of yet. I called him and emailed him the information that he needed. The phone number of EFG is 386-738-8600. It's a Florida number, so keep in mind the time zone stuff. Good growing to all!
NEWSFLASH: I was just cruising Exotic Orchids of Maui (Exotic Orchids of Maui: Peristeria elata) and they have 1 specimen plant for $40. Just thought you all should know.....

AWESOME!!! Can you post pics when it arrives?? I would like to see where the development of their plant is compared with mine (mine are still dormant). Great snag, I think they posted that one either today or yesterday.
